Saraphinaviolin

We can’t wait for you to experience the musical wizardry of Sarah Davidson-Gurney on her electric violin.

Sarah began playing the violin at just three years of age and the piano at five years of age. Sarah recorded her first album when she was 13 years old.

Sarah was concertmaster of the York University Symphony for two years, first violinist of the Koffler chamber Orchestra for eight years, principal second violinist in the Kindred Spirits Orchestra for two years, and currently plays with a number of orchestras across Ontario.

Renowned for her work with the electric violin, Sarah has played that instrument for nearly 10 years. She has opened concerts for Gwen Stefani, Usher, and Jann Arden. She has performed for large audiences at galas and other events around the world in places like the Ritz-Carlton and the Shangri-La. Sara is also the leader and founder of an electric quartet called “Four Strings”.
